While we do have an appreciation for some classic sports games, like Everybody’s Tennis on PSP and NFL Street on PS2, it’s a genre that generally doesn’t age well. That’s not stopping QUByte from partnering with Atari to bring back a selection of Accolade outings on PS5 and PS4.

As you’d expect from a modern compilation, all games will be updated with upscaled visuals, save states, filters, and more. There’s no release date attached.
To quote a classic from former PlayStation boss Jim Ryan, “Why would anyone play these?” Well, to be totally fair, we’ll try each one for a total of 15 seconds and move on. No one said game preservation had to include the cream of the crop!
